Question for any NZFBB judge or offical Is the Sonny Schmidt Classic& is the show for elite athlets only or can any compete in the show?

I'm not an official but I can tell you that there is no Elite Class being run at the Sonny Schmidt, it has only appeared on this web site as Elite.

Having said that, any of the Elite category competitors are eligible and welcome to compete....So keep on that diet Nato!!!

That's correct, Mike - there is no Elite class at this event. I'm not sure how the word "Elite" got included in the event name ... perhaps Mark S was considering having an Elite class when the calendar was formed late last year?

But, there is definitely a "Classic" class at the show, so maybe the correct name for the show should be the "NZFBB Sonny Schmidt Classic, Figure, Physique, Body Fitness, Fitness & Mixed Pairs but not Elite Champs"!? :wink: :pfft:

I use the good stuff :pfft: :pfft: not ashamed of it......... and will not be a Hypocrite.

you heard it here first folks, Nate is not ever going to compete in the NZBB Challenge, so the rest of you can sleep at night if you've submitted your pics in the online comp knowing that the big guy is staying out of it.

however if you mean the NZFBB, that's fine, there will be other elite shows I'm sure, my message to you about doing the Sonny and the Nats was simply, your in shape, you have the talent to be on the pro stage. IF it really is your dream, then you do what is required to achieve it, regardless of current policy.

Personally I don't see myself as a hypocrite (assuming your reference is to those of us who have recieved our Pro cards during the testing era-myself included), I entered a show, I won, I passed the test, I turned pro....whats hypocritical?
