Will I need clomid or Nolvadex?

I am considering taking a cycle of Anavar and possibly test, and I was wondering, is clomid or Nolvadex needed afterwards? I was reading where a lot of the gains would be lost after a cycle, if not taking either clomid or nolvadex, to help kickstart your own natural testosterone levels. I have only just read this and never heard of it before. Is the taking of either of these necessary?

Definitely bro. If you use anything like test that aromatizes to estrogen you have to keep some nolvadex on hand in case you start to develop the dreaded gyno(bitch tits).That is what the picture is telling us :doh:

After your cycle it is advised to use a combination of the two to help restore your natural testosterone levels so that you can keep the majority of your gains. Without a post cycle treatment, chances are good that you will crash (hormonally speaking) and lose most of your gains as it might take some time for your body to restore it's own test production. In that time you will have the test level of 10 year old girl and that is not very conducive to keeping your hard earned muscle.(and I'm not even talking about the mood swings, lack of sexual desire, lack of motivation for training etc.)

As one of the other guys suggested, use your best friend "google" and get as much info as possible before starting your cycle.

cheers for that guys, very imformative. What about just on an anavar cycle alone, would nolvadex still be needed? I came across this and it looks like anavar wont shut down your HPTA! I would be keeping the doses to no more than 40 t0 50mg a day. As a beginner, I think that would be sufficient for starters anyway.

hmmm, seems ther is no factual conclusion on this. Every one seems to have a different opinion on PCT after taking anavar alone.

Anavar is a fairly light-weight compound. You could do a 3 week PCT of 20mgs Nolva just to be safe.

What are your goals/stats etc?

So mainly for stamina, and to help with DOMs. Strength and added muscle are not the main goals, but obviously welcomed.

so whats your stats, mate did a cycle of anavar got huge strength gains off it did no post cycle and keep most of the strength. ran 30 mg a day i think for 6 weeks.

stats. lol, will tell you that when I lose 16kg of fat. Im guessing I should be around 94kg with the muscle Im carrying now, but am instead 110kg. So got a bit to lose. Got anavar today but it looks fake. Nothing sealed, no markings on the pills. Pills looks like nothing I can find on the net. Too scared to take it till I know what im taking. *sighs* Still doing research though.

underground pills often aint labeled or have markings such as net pics. what colour are they ?? white ?

There most likley pills from an underground lab (as I would guess 99% of all are) and you wont be able to find them on the net unless it is a very large UG lab. If you trust whoever you got them off they will be fine, if not send them to me and I'll use them and let you know how they were :pfft:

The average little round flat pills. Nothing else, is that normal? Will post a pic of the label later. Some of you guys may recognise it so can tell me if its ok.

Post up a pic bro...of both the bottle and tablets. I would be right in saying that most of the gear around NZ is Underground (UG) now...and there seems to be one main source...so it's most likely that if your stuff is UG , that it will be the same stuff that some of us are using right now so someone will recognise it or let you know if it looks like you've been scammed...

And yes you should always use a PCT its not as if its expensive.

thanks for that, but I think its ok. Im relativley new to this, had a play before, but nothing serious. I was always of the understanding if it didnt come as a recognised pill, in a recognised sealed packet, with the manufacturers name stamped on it, then it must be dodgy. I hadnt heard of the UG stuff. So should be sweet. Just a learning curve for me.........

Played around with decca years ago. Didnt know a thing about PCT. In fact, I have just come off a docotors perscribed testosterone from an anti ageing clinic, although they have screwed up, as its a pharmacutical dose, very high. (had it tested) Equivilant to what body builders would be taking. Stopped about a week ago. Had strange mood swings. Couldnt understand what was going on. Now I know! Gone back on it and just slowly reducing amount. You think blarrdy doctors would know this stuff. Obviously they dont, or didnt mention it. But then again, I bet they didnt reckon the stuff the lab is making is so high in test. Anyways, its all good, dont see the point in posting pics now, obviously its not going to be manufactured by any known or registered company, so could look like anything. Will just go for gold I think. If you never hear from me again, you know whats happend. lol. Nah, she'll be all good. cheers guys.

Im just wondering, is there any place in a body builders regime for taking Di-indole Methane (DIM) capsules, or are they as I suspect just one of the alternative health industries gimmicks? If its worth taking, what are the benefits of it? Could it be used instead of Nolvadex?

I wouldnt bother and not It cannot be used in place of proper PCT
