I reckon that we should have a forum, completely uncensored, purely for talking smack...anyone else agree? That way we can talk smack in there and leave the rest of the forums for serious discussion...

Bit bored are we?

it wont work for a number of reasons...

Very true.

It's not going to happen guys, after recent troubles it is something Admin and Mods as well as a number of members do not want to see.

I will not lock this yet as it will be interesting to see some opinion but be warned not to let it go further.

If its legal issues that you are worried about then why not put a disclaimer at the top of the forum saying something like 'the following opinions are fictional and do not represent the opinions of the admin or fellow members'?... I'm sure you could come up with something better, but you know what I'm saying..

Such a forum would see less "smack talk" posts on the serious boards. Most other bodybuilding chat sites have such a place, where all the crazy's can hang out together. Seems like a win win situation to me.

The point is to allow other users to express thier opnion, as many do have an opinion on this topic but only on the proviso that this thread doesn't degenerate into a smack talk thread.

I am for the freedom to express your opinion as long as it stays within the rules

It's spelt THEIR deegee

Sorry guys, thats the best smack I can come up with \:D/

Seriously, better to define smack though...running down someone directly with a humerous and competitve edge is all good, and saying who you think is better or will win. Blatant accusations that may or may not be wrong is another thing.

and rule 1: if you sign on to give it, you better be ready to recieve it- now that sounds dodgey when i read it back.

Lots of boards have flame boards or as caling here smack talk boards.

I would enjoy it.

Only get annoyed when threads are hijacked off topic. There is obviously a need for people to talk shit and blow off steam. It would be good to have it taken out of the regular forums.

Also admins you could decide to set a smack talk group and members would have to CHOOSE to join the group and agree to a different set of rules if they participate such as they will note that it is a public internet forum and the content may not be used to start lawsuits or to carry off into "real life"

That way the forum access could be noticed by a sticky in general chat and unless people joined it would not have to be seen or viewed keeping the forum as a sports board for those with no interest in its off topic subject.
