I have heard of people soaking their oats in water over night has anyone tryed this? Im going to be gyming in the morning before work and wont be able to go home after so thought i might do this and take em with me.

Or will it just be a gunky mess?

Is there any difference nutritionally between oats that are cooked and oats that are just mixed straight into a shake or blender cold? Does it change the rate of absorption of the carbs? Does it feel different in your belly, give you gas or anything like that?

i read somehwhere that it lowers the GI.. ill let you know how it feels tomorrow..

might try what 2guns recommended.
