Help I just lost my marbles!! Left it over 4 hours for eating as busy doing stuff I couldn't get out of. I have just eaten way too much junk food, feeling quite sick and guilty. Still just over 4 months from comp but not on!! Not very impressed with myself at all

Does anyone else do this?

Yep I know preperation is the key, I am super organised and stick to meals usually, however I got held up. My question is have other people had a good binge? Its not good enough to think I"m 4 month out from comp should be right. Its a physcological thing, I'm sure others have been through it and I'm keen to hear peoples stories/thoughts. Not smart ass comments thank you Mr Diamond

ha ha nope I haven't eaten a thing smarty pants, besides the things I ate weren't that bad, an aunt betties pudding thing and some marshmellows not quite a tub of ice-cream.

So Mr Diamond do you stick to a clean diet all year round?

Been there, done that and I know how you feel.

Hey don't be too hard on yourself or over-compensate by eating less or doing extra cardio tomorrow. Just learn from your mistake and what put you in that predicament to binge in the 1st place and move on. One binge aint gonna do anything to your physique or cause fat-gain, and if your'e already in a depleted state there could be some positives from it (better training session tomorrow, increased metabolism....list goes on). Just make a promise to yourself that you won't let it happen again and the next time you cheat, it is a scheduled session.

So all in all, leave it in the past, move on and don't let it happen again :)

Hi Biggurl, I can sympathize completely!!

My hubby shouted us a few days in Queenstown for our 17th wedding anniversary this last weekend and I went OTT with the eating  . It was like "oh well, for the next 20 weeks I will be cardio-ing my arse off, eating chicken & veg, and buggar it - let's get it out of my system now". I enjoyed pizza, wines, cocktails and a "ferg-burger" (chicken one, of course!), plus some sweet treats. Now I'm all good and really ready to focus.

This is the first year for a while that I have not done a mid-year comp so the brain hasn't got into the right frame yet. It's hard when I'm looking at the CNI's in October - it just seems forever away!!! My weight is now up there but hopefully I have gained some good muscle. I feel like I have anyway. Now I am keen to shed the fat and see what I have acheived.

You will be fine. We have time to get there but we just gotta look at the big picture now. We all know how fast those weeks will diminish!!

Cheers!

No way , where's the fun in that

when i'm not dieting i eat whaetever i feel like. Pies, pizza, cheesecake heaps of bread and pasta, olive oil all over my meals. The more the merrier.

When it comes time to diet i just stop eating all the crap and do some cardio.

Nope can't relate at all... I am perfect, always stick to my diet and find it so very easy!!!! :pfft: ha ha ha!

Yeah whatever, pretty much everyone who has competed, tried to compete or diets can relate, weather they want to admit it or not it another story. I know so many girls (Figure, Physique, Fitness) who 'Binge' or 'Fall off the diet wagon', sometimes only a week or so out from a comp - it's human nature. I'm not posting to offer advice, just congratulations - you are normal! And thanks, cause hearing about others helps me feel like my little hick ups along the way are just part of the game - sometimes things don't always go to plan.
