diet critique please

Hi im going on a diet because im tired of having the tunmmy blubber,just wanted to know if the diet below is good enough ,any advice would help.

Im preety lean all around except the tummy,not happy with that .got around 17% bodyfat.

morning

8:00 am

half a cup of oats,with a teaspoon white sugar with a scoop of 25gm whey with skim milk

10:00 am

glass of 25 gm whey in 50% water 50% skim or 250 gm fat free cottage cheese

12:am

Lunch: really gets buggered here,depends whats leftover from last night try to keep the protein higher though

mostly i get these chargrilled chicken steaks on a salad mix

16:00

25 gmwhey

20:00

post workout

35 gm whey (1 1/2 scoop whey)

dinner

mainly chicken try not to eat bread! and keep the carbs low

training split

monday chest (cardio if i feel like it)

tue back and shoulder (cardio if i feel like it) (back really drains me)

wed legs (no cardio)

thur break

fri (arms) no cardio (legs still hurting)

weekend basketball

workouts are for about 2 hours and so is basketball.

Instead of having 25g of whey at 16.00 .I would change it 15.00 to having rice cakes toped with tuna,cummber and apple instead.

Rice cakes?you're kidding right? you may as well just spoon white sugar into your mouth. There's absolutely nothing redeeming about nasty old ricecakes except as a PWO high GI carb. They're devoid of any actual goodness yet people seem to think they are good for fatloss. If you're trying to spike blood sugar or insulin PWO then fine, but not as part of a day to day weight loss diet.

started working out when i was 19 years was a ectomorph back then (58 kilos on a 6 foot frame),stopped working out when i was 23(at 75kgs of decent muscle) when i came to this country didn't do any workout for 2 years and now im a fat 95kgs had reached 98 kgs before i started working out,and i got freaked said i had to do something before i reach 100,my diets not been good coz i have never had to diet!im still preety lean all around except around the stomach)

I eat more carbs than that when im in the last 4 weeks of a diet.

In my opinion when you are dieting to lose a lot of weight you need to stretch it out over a decent period of time.

Like say if you want to lose 20 kg of fat do it over a 4 month period.

And i would flag the shakes completely, and just eat 6 small portion meals a day.

ie:

meal 1 . 6 eggs and one cup of mixed vege

meal 2 . i large can of tuna

meal 3 . 200 gms of chicken breast and half a cup of brown rice

meal 4 . 1 large can of tuna and 1/2 cup low fat cottage cheese

meal 5 . same as meal 3

meal 6 . same as meal 1

the only time i would have a shake would be after a workout with soy milk and a banana.

I would also make sure i'm drinking heaps of water and supplement with vitamin c, multivitamins and omega capsules.
