What does everyone have for desserts. I am quite bad after dinner and like to get into the chocolate. Not good!

Need some fresh ideas which will hopefully get me off the chocolate or peanut M&M's. Trying to lower sugar intake.

Anyone who wants to PM me a delivery address I'll send you a Chocolite MOUSSE sachet that makes an instant pudding (chocolate, caramel or strawberry) when they arrive soon. SHAMELESS PROMOTION! And no 2GUNS I wont get rich giving away free stuff! Just giving NZBB visitors the chance to try something for nothing, now surely the moderators wont mind that..?? What if I send each of them a whole packet! :pfft:

No but you'll get filthy rich if eveyone then wants to get some more, which no doubt they'll have pay top dollar for, so again, stop promoting your shit on NZBB and pay Pse for some advertising space...

"TRY YOUR FIRST LOT FREE!"

banana = fructose sugar (30g), maple syrup?? a heap!, pancakes - more carbs!! Awesome if you're training like a MOFO and have a heap of muscle to burn it off and it follows up a massive steak or chiken feast (oh and your 20 years old!) but otherwise doing the waist no favours Craig. Thread was about getting rid of the fat, sugars and carbs but still having a chocolate treat.

ummm Weight Watchers jellys are yum about 30cals a whole packet (raspberry and blackberry are yumi)

and the Weight Watchers mousses, made with a lil bit really trim milk about 120cals the whole packet and even pro/carb ratio (from memory) so not bad before bed relatively speaking.

and jarrah hotchoc satchels are good too-one satchel has 42cals, mix with hot water, if you want it more chocolatey add another, still only 84cals so dismal

dale can i try some plzz ?

No probs small, PM me.

The Chocolite MOUSSE is twice the protein of Weight Watchers MOUSSE, has no hydrogenated fats (read transfats you know the bad ones that are being banned everywhere), is high in fibre and not from just polydextrose but from inulin, and has no sugar added or aspartame (unlike WW which has aspartame and we all know about that stuff).

Protein in Chocolite MOUSSE is mainly slow release and from mainly micellar casein not just calcium caseinate so very good protein and includes whey protein.

Will advertise on this site next month and link it through to the chocolite website so all NZBBers can try a sample if they want.

Ummm you can try these if you're desperate lol...

PROTEIN CAKE:

1/3 cup of water

1 scoop PP (flavoured ones work best)

And microwave. (Could be anywhere between 30secs - 1.30secs depending on the brand of powder you're using) Watch for overflowing!

It turns into a little cake! Again, depending on the type of PP you use - some give a great cake-like texture whereas others can turn out a little rubbery :? . But you can eat it warm or pop it into the fridge for a little while if you want something cooler  I've even made slightly bigger ones and added berries into it and it turned out great.

The jury's still out on heating powder in the microwave, but this saves me from eating a kingsize chocolate bar or a whole freakin' chocolate cake!

Orrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...

PROTEIN ICECREAM

1. Cottage cheese + peanut butter (amounts depend on your macros for the day) but I usually have ~50g CC and ~20g PB... add in half a scoop of protein powder if you feel the need...

2. Mix. Add in a bit of water if its too clumpy/dry-looking.

3. Microwave for about 30-40secs, until the cottage cheese has melted a bit, then stir again (sometimes I warm it up a little more).

4. Either eat hot straight outta the microwave or put in the fridge for an hour or so. (It'll turn out like a soft-serve like texture... Hello icecream!)

YUM factor's about a 10. yum.gif

EDIT: Sometimes I add in some splenda too.

Ooh I found another one in my recipes folder.. I think it was from some lowcarb forum?

PROTEIN LOLLIES

1. Mix ~60mls of water with a scoop of your favourite Casein/Whey protein powder in a bowl to get a really thick kind of like pudding mixture.

2. If the mixture is still a little runny, you can add a bit of ricotta cheese to thicken it up.

3. Use a spoon to put into shapes, or pour into a small tray.

4. Put in freezer for 15-20 minutes or until solid.. you should still be able to cut into little squares or whatever shapes you want lol.

These can be stored in an airtight container in either the fridge or freezer.

Oh shat. Last ONE, I promise. Its sorta like the protein cake, but uhh with peanut butter lol.

PROTEIN POWDER & PEANUT BUTTER CONCOCTION

I couldn't think of a better name.

1. In a small bowl, put peanut butter in with your protein powder(sometimes it's a full scoop for me and sometimes half a scoop).

2. Add some splenda (optional) and mix.

3. Add a tad bit of water until it's a paste-like consistency or like pudding.

4. Microwave for 45-50 seconds or until it's a cake-like consistency.

5. EAT. Seriously, it tastes like cake mixture or a brownie

Elaborate? You made a similar statement on another thread and I let that slide. Tell me more Tom as I would like to know what you are implying.

yr choc mousse sounds too good to be true that is all

It makes up a bit more like an instant pudding but sets with the lighter mousse like texture. Isnt as "fluffy" as a sugar/hydrogenated oil mousse as it doesnt contain any of the foaming agents they use. have kept it high protein, high fibre and enriched with extra calcium.

As for what is in it, 50-55cal per serve when made in low fat milk, 2 serves per sachet. BUT seriously, everyone will eat the whole thing as its only 100-110cal. Is very filling as the high fibre content really satisfies the apetite.

Sounds good because it is a world first. Isnt rocket science but is good science and ingredient selection to maximise protein, minimise sugar/carbs and fat. Rich sweet taste. And we manufacture in GMP plant, independently tested as with all these products.

I've had some of the Miada sugar free chocolate bar and it tasted a million times better than I thought possible. Would easily eat it instead of Cadbury's. Definitely worth looking into for those watching their diets.
