  • 3 months later...
  • 4 weeks later...

Later kick-offs (10:30-11:30)...hmm...as an athete, to like or not too like?

Extra sleep-in, prep and travel time etc sounds great for those of us who don't suffer from sleeplessness or heightened anxiety levels, but for those us who do... :shifty:

I guess on the flipside if your a weed like me and ya competition normally outweighs ya by at least 5kgs, one could do with extra carb-up (& or fluid deplete if necessary). One fact i think we can all appreciate is the reduced period this causes between shows (less time laying round w goop al over ya, not to mention nasty hunger pains).

Interested to hear ya thoughts?

Anyway far to much time on my hands..at home with man-flu.

Good luck to all u guys competing tom, looking forward to seeing a great show!!!!

I could only get to the pre-judging. I think there were around 66 competitors - but I am sure Terry will post the official stats.

It was a great show - well run and good quality competitors. I am sure people will post line up shots - but here are some more individual pics which I took if you're interested, and that might give you a feel for the day.

Thanks for the pics Kiwi. Terry am I allowed to ask how heavy Supry Sos

was?

Yes, you can ask - and I do know his weight, but as I know how sensitive you Open Mens competitors are about revealing your weight, I'll pm you his weight instead of posting it here!

If the guy who won classic is anything to go by, looks like another good line up.

Nationals should be bloody good

Yes, weener lad - having yourself, Aron and Rod in the Classic line up at Nationals will definitely make it a tough field for anyone else to compete in.

If Aron does the CNI show to qualify for the nationals, the under 70 open class is going to be a real cracker with daniel, supry, shaun and him. Does anyone know where that guy came from, he had one of the best physiques at the show. He was bummed out when he realised that he was unable to line up in the overalls.
