Pre-workout boost

1 heaped teaspoon of instant coffee. No water. That's how you know you're truly toughcore.

You are allowed a chaser of brown sugar though, as it's purely for performance-enhancing reasons, and nothing at all to do with taking away the god-awful taste of concentrated coffee...

Sometimes I go one up on pseudo, and snort lines of coffee

lol2.gif Yeah, blimmin' Pseudo and his coffee addictions lol.

I don't know how you guys can just drink your cals then go do your workout. Even if its at 5am, I need to eat a full meal before I train.. or at least half of one, then eat the rest afterwards :shifty:

Haha I was feeling really average one day, so decided to take 6 No Doz before hitting the gym - got there and realised it had closed early due to a public holiday. Had to run for an hour to get the shit out of my system

I Eat a massive meal an hour before with my Kre Alk and Fish oils, and a strong black coffee 30min prior to training. I sip flat coke or dextrose during a heavy training session if I am feeling light headed.

Use to have NO Xplode but we know what happened there!

Now thanks to some advice here I have 2 Taurine caps 4 Kre Alk and a strong black coffee. Oh the standard protein shake as well.

Gives you a descent kick with most of what your body needs during a workout.

400mg caffeen and 60mg ephadrine if your that way inclined.

I cant train on food anymore, used to do as samwelly and eat a massive meal an hour or so Pre work out, but now I eat an apple 2-3hours before and it comes back up on me. For me its early morning on an empty stomach and some caffeen.

For strength/heavy training periods I'd have about 1.5hrs before heading to gym in the afternoon either 200g Chicken or 1 large can Tuna drained out of springwater and large serve of rice or pasta (sometimes just cook the rice and dump tuna while rice is piping hot and then stir it all around and eat while drinking milk with whey protein in it to get it down smoother).

Then sugar Carb drink Refresh/or Raro with an amino acid mix now sold as Miada CVF consisting of 5g Creapure creatine, 2g glutamine, 1 gram Taurine, 1 gram Alanine and 1 gram Glycine taken just before heading off to lift (20-30mins preworkout). Drink Refresh/Raro or high carb drink throughout training (sip between each set to keep blood glycogen high and stable throughout). Follow up postworkout with protein shake and some slow acting carbs (kumara) and meat and few veges.

8 week cycles on 4 weeks off this. On off cycles would just have large bowl of oats with fruit as preworkout boost. Sometimes a bag of M&Ms or Snickers! Nice.
