Manu, the print process is digital, so hopefully there won't be any issues with artwork transferring itself from shirt to face! It is trickier apparently to print on black than on white. But the guy sounds pretty fussy about his print quality, so that's got to be a good sign!

Michaelk, that's fair enough man. I'm quite happy to admit I'm no fashion designer. That's why I asked for feedback. :)

If anyone wants to come up with alternate designs, go right ahead. Just be aware that printing on two sides gets quite pricey, so I think we'll be going with a one-sided design.

Re the people photos, if we're split 50/50 on this (as we seem to be), I think we'll go with a people-less design. It's a shame in some ways - I kind of liked them - but there are fairly hefty royalty charges to be able to use them on a shirt. So unless the overwhelming majority desperately wants them, the people are out.

Re the shirt style - I think it's a regular fit. There will also be singlets, etc.

dnt quit yr day job michaelk

I'll just leave it the the experts at Big Kiwi who sponsor me and kit out all my training gear

hey Mr Natural, would it dissappoint you to know that I've cleared some good money from being a Pro, not enough to live on, but more than enough to cover my costs of doing my last show

Not trying to be defensive, but with the Nationals not too far away (22 1/2 weeks I think) hopefully there are a few others who might want to have a crack at joining me in the ranks and realize that there is the potential to earn money directly from bodybuilding.

When I think of Professional, I interpret it as if it was be your main source of income. Was suprised to hear you also work a full time day job.

Do you think there is really the market to be a full time professional BB in NZ? I know that even the american freaks struggle to make enough to survive - Ronny's a prime example.

Professional is a category, just like amateur and Elite, I don't doubt there are very very few Pro's in the world (let alone NZ) who make a living from the sport on it's own, so I'd say no there isn't a big enough market to be a full time Pro in NZ.

Having said that, I can't say that if I were able to I would not work to some degree anyway...it would do my head in to think about bodybuilding only all day. I don't work at Elite fitness anymore either, so don't even have to think about the industry all day and it's great.

Having said that, i have marketed well enough to cover my costs, and that includes flights to Aus. But bear in mind, a lot of other expenses have been covered for me too that wouldn't previously have been as an amateur, there is a marketability that goes with it I guess that I have leveraged off.

And it cost $200US per year too!pro card.pdf
