I have a number of clients using the PVL ripped muscle stack with good quick results.

$55 bucks seems a lot for 15 days man. how long have you been training? if your looking for suppliments i would suggest the tried and true. look around for research form independant researchers on products.

there is plenty of evidence on whey protein and creatine I believe. Im sure others will have other ideas about what has worked for them in the past, just remember supliments are for suplimenting an already good diet, not to make up for a poor diet

The ripped muscle stack sells for $164.90 in nz, ($55 is quoted in canadian dollars) as PVL is manufactured there. I have two clients who started the 15 day cycle in the last 6 weeks whom are averaging 1kg per week weight gain with a 10 - 15% increase in strength. Interestingly they are both over 50 years of age ... sometimes more difficult to get a quick response with older trainers. Cycled fortinghtly with a good thermogenic they are maintaining their bf% also. (Assuming your nutrition plan is correct there is no reason it wont do the same). Even at this price the gains are worth the investment. I personally haven't used the stack as I'm working through a stockpile of no-explode but will probably use the product after that.

There's 100's of supplements out there you can take but they wont do jack if your diet and training aren't up to scratch

Assuming that they are then start with the basic supplements

Perhaps, although it's a fairly high-end (and therefore expensive) way to go.

The Ultra Ripped protein is an isolate, which is the purest form of whey protein. That sounds good, but sometimes less is more, and a concentrate could be better - it just depends how you plan on using it. Read our Bodybuilding for Beginners guide to diet for more info on this.

The other reason I'm not so keen on Ultra Ripped and similar products from other brands is that they contain a thermogenic (fat-burning) formula. This is almost always a stimulant. If you work out in the evenings and have your post-workout shake late at night (I've just had mine now), a stimulant is the last thing I want just before bed! But regardless of when you work out, having your stimulant AFTER the workout seems a little pointless. Personally, I'd rather keep thermogenic and protein separate so I can have them when I want.

But, as the others have said, there may not be any point in you having a thermogenic of any kind just yet. If you can tidy up your diet, it's a much cheaper (and more effective) way to go than any fat-burning supplement. So... what do you eat in an average day?
