I watched rinne the other night japanese movie but it was damnnn good! Really really creepy.

Digging... getting out other hdd's, hoping correctly labelled and then searching.

My recent horror faves are "The Devils Rejects" and "The Hills Have Eyes" :nod: THHE is.. Imo, horror at it's best. It was raw and modern at the same time. And it totally killed the "winkie at the camera and audience" faux horrors like "Scream", once and for all !

I can't stand torture porns like "Hostel" or "Saw". I even wanted to sneak out of the movies halfway through "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" :oops:

Eeeek.. I get squeamish easily with torture movies, so I mostly need a supernatural or science fiction element of some sort before I get interested.

Are you into Vamp movies? I haven't seen "Near Dark" yet, but my sister reckons it rocks None of the nearby vid stores have it though

"Black sheep" was hilarious! "Slither" is kinda in the same boat too.. so over the top its funny.

Ooh watched that "30 days of night" last week, it was cool, filmed in NZ so a few NZers on it, pretty good for a vampire movie.

The freakier the better for me, like Saw movies, Creep.

Watched 1408 also last week, its OK, bit weird. But Morgan Freeman is a dude.

Cheap horror on a budget, overly long, did not keep my attention which may lead to my confusion abotu the point of the story line. Acting was bad too.

Requiem (2006)

German language movie. Wel done, stuck to the time period perfectly, great acting, not so much a ghost story but a disturbing look at insanity. Enjoyed it.

Freeze Me (2000)

Japanese language movie , you get fucking irritated with the main character but a truly disturbing tale. Rape and violence and a look into Japanese culture. Disturbing and you can see the directors intentions. Would watch this again.

French language movie.. wow what do you say one of those horro movie classics. Gore fest.. but done in a way that this is no slasher flick. Think something like single white female slashed with texas chainsaw massacre. Bloody, amazingly hot pregnant chick... as IMDB says do not watch this if you are pregnant.. its as disturbing as the cover.

Really hard movie to describe without making it sound bad.. think genetic engineering gone wrong.. alien predator style movie not bad for a low budget movie quite enjoyed it.

I LOVE horror movies. Mainly the supernatural sort of ones but I still like the "psycho maniac" ones.

I've gotten quite immune to them now so a movie has to be really scary for me to like it.

At the moment I'm in my Japanese horror phase. Love 'em.
