I competed in this show, and have some of me but thats about it, it was very dissapointing for many of the athletes as we had all expected there to be a photographer organised for the event, or divd/video but there was not, so with very little advertising and exposure for the show, I reckon many didnt know it was even happening, I was given a great suggestion to go and take some outside pics between shows to capture the moment which I am so glad we did. As we all know its a lot of work and people like to have a look at the line ups, so it will only be the private pics of family and friends.

This is the problem with NABBA not very well organised at all, I didn't even know it was happening till Friday avo.

In saying that though IFBB South Island Champs last year had photographers but no photos made it to the net, or anywhere for that matter. Thats just as bad

Yep I can tell you, there were 20, I was getting really stressed in the last week as a competitor and had contacted Nabba headquarters, as there was nothing on the website and when my partner went in two weeks before the show to buy tickets, nobody knew anything about it, I had recurring nightmares of all my prep being for nothing and there only being two athletes and the show being cancelled, but in fact there were more than last year, I just think its a shame because its a ripple effect, they say they need more regional support, but I know some people from my gym travelled to Wellington to compete, if the show had better organisation and exposure more people would go to watch which would encourage more competitors - maybe Nabba Christchurch is long overdue for some new organisation - what do other people think?

I would have to agree on NABBA Canterbury is long due for over hall.NABBA Canterbury should hire new people with better organizeing skills also changing the venue from the Dame nagio marsh theater to a venue that holds 500 people or seven hunred people. When I came up[ from Dunedin last year to attend the NABBA South islands I had to buy my ticket for the pre judging at the door.It say on the poster for the NABBA south islands saying that tickets would be avabile at the door which I thought was very poor adverstising.

u bought yr ticket on the door? and on the poster it said u could buy it on the door?

....? wats the problem there?

I am wondering when NABBA Canterbury are going post the results from the show on the NABBA web site.I have a look a few times since the show was held on the 12 of April and such luck all I could find was the poster of the NABBA show in Auckland but not the results from the show.

I would have to agree with Rollsby girl on that yes NABBA they do need a very good curry up on posting the results from the NABBA Christchurch show on April 12th.NABBA could have gotten one of there officals to post the results from the show on there web site.

Hi There, there will be no online pics as they did not have a photographer or videographer there. Results still not showing on the Nabba website for this show or the recent Auckland show, think they need a curry up!

its pathetic isn't it.still nothing up for 08 and the auckland show was over a week ago.They still have the national overall results on the main page zzzzzzzzzzz old news!
