welkome bro ,last time i checked protein powder was free of any AAS, however its quite achievable to get your required protein intake by eating only whole foods , tuna, lean beef ,chicken, turkey ,eggs/whites ,nuts. post up a example of your diet and well check it out

Gidday Doob. Generally when people talking about staying "natural", they mean not using steroids or other performance-enhancing drugs. Most people just think of protein supplements as extra food - just like a fancy milk powder.

You don't need the protein powder, but you do need some source of protein, and the powder is an easier and cheaper way to go than cooking up huge amounts of meat all the time.

Your diet looks adequate from a fat-loss point of view (provided you're not snacking all the time, or having sweet drinks). But you need to eat more protein and more meals if you really want to put on muscle.

Pseudonym: oh sorry about the natural part.. was referrin to the protein supplements.. so i'm guessin no extra protein = slower muscle growth?

yea i dont snack much.. munch on apples or a muesli bar instead.. as for drinks.. water water water and some pearl milk tea aka bubble tea coz i'm omgg soo good.. not on a daily basis tho so thts a plus i guess..

IronGame: 19, M.. how is it shocking? thing is i would love to follow ur meal suggestion but as a uni student its kinda hard to do so.. i'm even findin it kinda hard to slot gym time in between classes on some days..

so yea any suggestions for a uni student's diet?

Without being nasty I got to agree, your diet is poor.

Doesn't matter that you go to Uni in fact it should make your life easier. Most of us have jobs which mean we are packing 6-10 meals to take to work, just means you have to organize your life a bit.

Going natural????????? Fella feel free to stay off the gear (steriods) in fact I encourage it BUT you must take supplements if you want good results. I use to just do it with food and food only as soon as I realised it wasn't working and started with some basic supplementing (protein and Kre-alk) my body had dramatic changes within a few months.

Do some homework on bodybuilding and supplements, don't take what adverts says for granted and research some medical journals for exact benefits of particular supplements.

You can still fit in the diet with been a uni student I agree with everyone else you need more protein... cereal for breakfast is no good :( Everyones posted good advice though but seriously if you want to do ti you make it work.

I cook once a week a giant amount of chicken and freeze it in containers to have at least one meal prepared a day. Loads of canned fish and chicken about which you can throw in your bag when you are on the run.

All classes have breaks make use of your breaks and eat a meal then. Bodybuilding I have found to be a major adjustment the gym is only one part of it it has been a total lifestyle change and Id really reconsider the lack of protein shakes especially on a student budget its a cheap quick source of protein. Oh and buy in bulk :)

Welcome.

Yip good point, I overlooked the lack of money thing.

It was more a reference to time and being able to eat whenever its required.
