Food and sleep are the number one training supplements :)

Oh brother

These one liners you keep coming out with... are you competing in a 'state the obvious' competition that we don't know about?

Any bodybuilder worth their salt knows these things, yet you share them like a giddy schoolgirl... as though you are empowering us with your pearls of wisdom.

To answer fudoc5's question... I think powerade is a simple yet highly effective choice as a recovery drink post workout.

thanks nzmusclemonster for that, yea i was looking at the labels behind powerade and the new myzones with electrolytes and saw that myzones had dextrose in them but none in powerade which is why ive been taking myzone instead of powerade.... :?

I didn't get to finish that post, and hadn't realised I hit submit either.

You can buy dextrose from New World - I just picked up 400grams for $2.40. Depends on your current build how much sugers it is going to spike your insulin levels to abrsorb the PWO protien.

Insulin levels are already at a very high point after training, so just experiment with it - if you are wanting to stay lean I would stay around 1-1 protien vs dext. I have about 75grams to 45grams protein, 6g glutamine, 5 Krealkaline tablets and a NOS stimulant.

NZMM: What I say (most of the time) is based of personal experiences with trial and error, advice from people at a competitive level in both BB'ing and boxing, and from the results I have had myself. I would love to see a photo of you so we can see how far your wisdom and knowledge in diet and training has gotten you...

How much do you weigh in the pic?

I can't figure out if you are a rake or a "muscle monster" :pfft:

I was about 85kg (at 5'11) in that pic... Dieted down way too much, could have easily been a good 3kg heavier..
