This question has probably been asked 100x already, but with time and new members come new sources and what not..

where is the best place to get bulk protein bars? in terms of cost and the bar itself, that is.

I usually go into health shops when the bars are nearly expired, they drop from about $4.60 to $1.60 so i grab about 20 :grin:

have found that food town sometimes has a good price going p40 bars. they can save a couple of bucks. otherwise buy them from the states, with the strong NZdollar it's well worth bringing some over.

I imagine you'd do in the store and look at a variety of bars and find out when the exp dates are; then pop back in a few days in the last week till you find out when they sell of there soon to be expired stock. then repeat

aproach the owners and let them know that you will take expired product off their hands , give em your number im sure theyl be keen to get rid of any to ya

yup expired products the way to go use to buy protein through shops (online now) and managed to convince them to gimme free expired ones, got a box of 12 one time@!!

P40's I have found in the past can range in price from 3. to 4.5 a bar. if you are lucky you might find a box for a cheaper rate mybe 10% off or something

just to resurrect an old topic has anyone tried the cnp pro-flap jacks? they are cheap and a reasonable level of protein and calories. thoughts anyone?

Expired protein bars are all good but if its ever offered I dont recommend expired EAS Myoplex sachets. The money you save will end up being spent on toilet paper! :toilet:

They are a 'Best before' date. Not use by. Expired protein bars are the way to go
