Shoulder Injury

Recommended Posts

My shoulder has been giving me some grief lately im starting to think it was from a heavy bench session a few weeks back, I cant seem to lift anything above my shoulders or do any chest exercisers...any ideas what could have happened? tossing up wether to see a doctor/physio.

Also am quite a wat through my course at the college of fitness and it is going great :) but keeping open minded though

SH,

Sounds like you have Rotator Cuff damage, get your Physio to give you a test, strength and flexibilty. Could take a little while to come right, they are not nice.

Check with your course instructors about your bench technique, might be an issue.

Get to a physio chap. I did my sub scapularis and left it 4 months before getting it seen to (dumb) rehab has now taken alot longer than normal. It shouldn't cost you if you find a fully ACC accredited physio.

Good luck

WL
