Tall- well over 6 foot, and from what I've been told, squats 390 for 2!!!!

At the 2004 Oceania Powerlifting Champs in Fiji, Oscar competed for Tahiti and his stats then: height 1.91m and weight 156kg (supposedly 10-11% BF). According to some lifters that represented NZ at that meet they said the 10-11% BF wasnt too far off either :shock: . His lifts on that day were Squat - 340kg, bench - 277.5kg, Deadlift - 320kg for a 937.5kg total.

He's certainly one big mofo. Good to see him do well and mix it up with the pro boys on stage.

Hell Yeah, thats what Im talking about muscle that looks good and can lift some real Iron aswell.

How old is this guy? He has a tonne of mass that just needs a bit of polishing up and he could destroy some big names.

I would love to see more Powerlifters having a go at Bodybuilding and vice versa.

I'm not too sure on his age bro but he looks young though. Also I think I got his height wrong, hes actually around 1.92-1.94m.... :shock: so the stats just get better and bigger :shock:

I hear you with some powerlifters crossing the floor and having a crack on the BB stage. The thought of Derek or Wayne Pomana on stage would be treat as would some of the lighter lifters like Stan Day or Steve Varga....dont even get me started with some of the female lifters.... :pfft:

I think its good Bluto that you lift at the odd comp in the CD region, makes for interesting competition for those that think another title is in the bag if they just turn up to the meet. I am currently training with a bodybuilder and the gains that he has made by using a different training approach (strength based) has been huge for him (since Jan). He to will be taking a few years off from competing (BB) and look at putting on some serious beef - he's also agreed to do some powerlifting comps to measure his own progress.
