Ok I have developed a strange love for going to the supermarket.. running low on eggs?.... less than 2 kilos of chicken in the freezer... only a few rolls of toilet paper? Then off I go.

I could house a group of bodybuilders for a month not just one... I have brought a full shelf of canned tuna, salmon, chicken, chickpeas, tomatoes etc... It could fit out a bunker well..

I have extra cottage cheese, extra vegetables that I dont always eat in time and a full freezer of frozen vegetables and meat.

I have a weird enjoyment of wandering the ailes but stranger yet I used to hate shopping.. Now I am collecting non essentials. I dont buy chocolate, candy or baked goods... nope I buy backups of suppliments and vitamins and it appears looking round the bathroom and bedroom every single kind of hair removal product there is. Even though I only use my razor.. just everytime zI go in I buy something different. Tonight I went in for some onions, toilet paper and a can opener... I managed to buy nail polish in a shade "blushing bride" hmmm, yet more hair product that I never use since Im w wash and go kind of girl and more body lotions.

I have concluded I either have a weird mineral deficency or I simply have a new found fetish for the supermarket. Since Ive gone I might as well paint my nails now with this promises to dry in 60 seconds nail polish.. maybe if I get really motivatyed I can remove hair from my legs 4 different ways, condition my hair, and apply various lotions to different areas of my skin.

It is weird for me, I used to buy all my groceries online and have them delivered now I can't wait for a chance to hop in my car and go waste time and money there... but hey if it makes me normal... well hmm not sure if I want to be or not lol I have since painted my nals and can report it appears to dry fast if not in a minuter as for the color well.. I feel most feminine

lol trust me anyone knowing me well would be wondering why I spent money on nailpolish instead of more well masculine things. Im a bit of a tom boy I guess.. I do not think I will ever use all this stuff Im just piling it up in a leftover giftbasket from christmas. Forget the bodybuilders at this rate i could put up a house full of beauty pagent contestants for a couple of days haha

ioh well if we are hit by a natural disaster or epidemic of some sort. My house is the place to be its well stocked and I even have protective gear and Im happy to let the women use all this crap I brought 8)

It's OK, you sound quite normal to me. I had a mild panic attack about an hour ago when I checked out my chicken in the fridge. To my horror my other has cooked up nearly all of it in a butter chicken dish!!! how could he? What will I do for tomorrow now? I don't eat the canned tuna etc so am contemplating heading for supermarket tonight as I type this. I do think you are onto something though. I feel the need to always be fully stocked because I rely on the healthy stuff so much.

what else can I say but 24 hour supermarkets are a wonder.. luckily Im single so no one is turning my skinless boneless chicken into calorie laden curry! I dont know what it is I just feel better knowiong that i have all I need for a week or more (canned food been way way more) Its just how often I go to the supermarket now compared to how it was.. gone are the days of shopping online I am a supermarket afficando trolley or basket :P I really have no need to go until next week I am going totry and avoid it if even for the sake of unesessary cash expenditure!

I even have protective gear

great for preventing natural disaster

It could be especially when it is in various colors, that surely has to count for something..

Damn it Im beginning to see a pattern here..

alphagirl's SO sounds like my wife... her idea of good use of chicken is Tikka Masala - so on Saturdays she'll knock up a batch of it while I'm at the gym...is there a more gut-wrenching thing to come home to when all that awaits is tuna and salad? Waaah!

Queen's got to be from Wellington - there ain't no point in owning a brollie here, if the wind don't turn it inside out, then the rain gets blown under it anyway!

But yep, sounds normal to me...can't have too much tuna in reserve, or salads - and with the price of things these days if someone's doing chicken breasts or whole chooks cheap, ya gotta take them while they're going :)

funny thing is 2 weeks ago I was looking for someone after giving notice to someone in my home who was honestly just a /insert 4 letter word here

Already found someone though and very pleased to say my home is peaceful and relaxed once again!
