Laurasaur Yes newbies can attend the show.I would suggest going along to the pre judgeing which will give you a genral idea on the diffrent compulsuary poses for the diffrent various classes and for the night show that is lots of fun.Best whishes to anyone on this fourm who will be competing in the NABBA nats on Saturday.The genral public is allowed to take photos of the athlets who are competing in the show.

Best of luck to all competing tomorrow, hope the mighty North Shore turns it on for everyone, and a good night is had up at the local bars, just around the corner.

My hat is off to NABBA and Terry running the Nats in great locations with room for some aftershow fun....just a pity BIGMD is so soft and couldn't keep up- must be a south island thing \:D/

MichealK is it any wonder MediumSIZED MD cant keep up, have you checked out those gnome shoes he wears! I'm surprised he can get close enough to the bar to reach a drink with those on and his short (too be sure) arms :D :pfft:

he's not a newbie, he's a nothing... a hasbeen former mr nz and not a pro really till he's done a show :D:D ....not to mention a severe fear of tequelia shots :roll:

Mind your the drunk Irish guy in BK at 2am was taking a shine to him...Gretchen may have to worry.

Huh? A hasbeen? A former MR NZ? a nothin'?

So does that mean you feel that anyone who received a title but who no longer competes is a 'hasbeen'? Man they are some pretty harsh words mate. I know a hell of a lotta former title holders who went on to do great things for themselves and others. Or am I missing the joke here?

Have no idea what they are talking about. While mike k was partying into the wee small hours i was at home growing like a weed. it is true i am a nobody.. i accept it..an ex burnt out mr nz (3x)(sort of), a pro that has not competed (bit like a jocky without a horse) but as mr kn knows next time (as was last time) when we are back stage (at the 2010 ironman) both waiting to go out he is going to take one look at my back and calves and say (OH F#@K) how does he do that!!! as for fit4life he may laugh at my italian designed shoes, but he still wears his nomads from high school. but my shoes carry my 106kg 5foot8 medium sized body around quiet nicly thank you!

I say share the knowledge if you 'have been there' and never think you are 'nothing' as although you may 'mean nothing to some others' doesn't mean that you are nothing to those who you choose to call your mates. They are the ones you give your energy too, that's what matters. I met MK briefly around 6 or so years back tho he wouldn't remember as it was a quick hello and handshake and have to say he appeared to be a real good guy. Probably is for all I know. Can't and won't please everyone MD so just good to know you please those who you call your mates. Yeah as you can tell I've been reading my wives psych books again, does me good :roll: I think

Just signed in, looks to be around 100+ competitors which should be great and good numbers through most classes.

Shame to see your'e not competing Mr Natural, as I think you would have had a good chance in nov physique especially as the other two guys from the top three in your class from the Nth Harbour are competing.

From the competitor list it looks as though there will be a combined Nov Athletic class of around 7 guys as only 2 enterd the short so far.

One competitor on the novice list i'm pretty sure is an Open competitor so im not sure what has happened there? Maybe a clerical error?

Anyways best wishes for all the competitors for tommorow, personally i'm amped and cant wait! Shoul;d be a great day!
