Cheap Gyms in and around Queenstown

Hi, I will be working in Queenstown for about 3 months soon and I was wondering if anybody has any input as to gyms in or around that area. I am looking for the cheapest option possible, but I would also like for the gym to be located either right in the Queenstown downtown area or not far from it. I have found two online so far (Queenstown Gym and Pulse-Fitness) but I was wondering if anybody knew of any other gyms that might be cheaper but also have a good location. I don't need all the frills of a modern gym, just free weights, some resistance machines, and a few cardio machines. A heavy bag to box on would be nice but is not neccessary. Pulse fitness is the bigger better and cheaper option, QT gym is pretty anal and corperate. Not really any other options around.

At least mortgage rates have come down so the home loan you will have to take out to use a Qeenstown gym wont hurt to much :pfft:

realise this is an old thread but, does anybody know where in queenstown these gyms are and what the casual rates are?

going to be working 1 week in 4 in queenstown over the next few months

there is 2 gyms. pulse and queenstown.

i dont know the rates but they are both quite similar, pulse is slightly roomier, qt has a bit better gear

pulse is by the memorial hall, 1 block from the top of the main st, qt is on the main st 25 steps from the mann st carpark.......

Queenstown Gym is on Shotover St and open till 9pm on week nights.
