Will be moving to NZ -QUESTIONS!

I will be moving to NZ in a few months and have many questions about bodybuilding in NZ compared to the USA.

1) The US recently banned prohormones, are they legal in NZ?

2) Similarly, are steroids legal in NZ? Anything else like ephedrine or other supplements?

3) Are supplements widely available locally or do you typically have to order online?

4) Are shipping costs typically high for supplements, magazines, etc?

5) In the Auckland area, what are the good "hard core" gyms?

6) Anything I should know when moving, that perhaps wouldn't be expected?

Thanks in advance!

3) Are supplements widely available locally or do you typically have to order online? Yes, and can be ordered online if you want.

4) Are shipping costs typically high for supplements, magazines, etc? No

5) In the Auckland area, what are the good "hard core" gyms? How hardcore do you want?

6) Anything I should know when moving, that perhaps wouldn't be expected? Just don't try and bring any special supplements with you through customs and you should be fine.

I think the biggest thing that you might not expect when you move down here from the states, is the accent is actually pretty different to the australian one, that we have no poisonous animals. In regards to the "hardcore" gyms, there a couple in mt eden, and a good one in new market. if you are moving into the suburbs, you'll have to just have a hunt in the yellow pages. When looking at the supplements, you might find with the strength of the NZ $ it might be cheaper to get them from the states by mail. otherwise all the same rules apply to NZ as the states in regards to what is allowed
