Are there any over the counter supplements which genuinely increase muscle mass?

Sadly, I think the answer is no - at least, not to the degree I suspect you're hoping for.

Protein powder, creatine, and ZMA (in that order of preference) are the usual OTC supplements that, combined with a lot of hard work in the gym, will help you gain muscle. Anything stronger than that in unlikely to be available over the counter.
