I've been called up for what will be probably my first and last time to serve on a jury.

I was just wondering, if I get selected, how long the days are? Because I'll be needing to work the gym around it somehow.

It all depends on what sort of case you'll be in on.

You may not even make the jury if either the prosecuting or defence lawyers don't like the look of you.

If you don't want to be on the panel, go in all tidy and proper looking - the defense will be looking for libertarians.

I'm in the High Court so I'm picking drugs is more likely than anything else (I'm only summoned for a week). Since my work still pays me for the week I'm more than keen to get on it.

I've already put much thought into what I'll be wearing. Basically you just have to look anonymous, so you don't give either side any bad ideas about you.

Yes I do. As I said my work still pays me full time while I'm on it. Plus I'm a law student, and once I get admitted to the bar I won't be able to do it again.
