NZEBB Amateur & Elite comp

Why have they got on the entry form that you have to sign a Drug Testing Consent, yet they say it's a non Drug Testing comp. I have had some people say they are going to pull out, if this is on the entry form.

Hey bdnz - tell these people to do what everyone should do with questions like this ... contact Mark Stewart and ask him directly. Moe (co-Promoter)is also organising the event but flew out to LA yesterday afternoon to compete at the Ironman Pro show this weekend, so Mark is the person to ask.

the confusion is over the drug testing info on the entry form which is in relation to the ametuer/regional show, u have to qualify from this to be eligibale for the elite show (unless u are invited) and wat ppl are wanting to know is if it is going to be drug tested.

this ametuer part of the day is an nzfbb show not a nzebb? am i right?

My understanding is that there wont be testers at the show but by becoming a member of the NZFBB you automaticly go in to the testing pool and may be tested at your home or workplace.

Could be wrong though

I could put my view on it, 2guns, but as I've already said - if you want to know the EXACT situation, contact the event organiser (Mark Stewart) who is not only the co-founder of the NZEBB but also the NZFBB President.

Actually Melbot, the pro contract (which I've signed) does stipulate that the IFBB Professional league may conduct drug testing at any of their shows, and they have done that in the past on a number of occasions.

Yep spot on Mike. The Elite show and NZFBB is run under the IFBB and so it has to say that drug testing "may be conducted" at this or any IFBB show. So not long to go now Mike, I'm sure your lookin lean and mean by now.

I'm ahead of diet schedule but typical of this time of the diet process, when I lose fat weight...I'm worried I'm not holding my size...when I feel bigger- I worry I'm not lean enough!!

Next body composition test is tomorrow...hope it reads well :shifty:
