Old school Dos Games

Hey guys,

Wanting to know if any of you out there used to play any old school games and can help me. Looking for a game we used to play at school (can only remember some parts).

1 part is where you are in a cave and another is your on a boat trying to cross a river, the current used to get you first and you ended up shipwrecked against a rock (ending the game) If any of you old schoolers out there can help with the name be appreciated.

Can't say I remember that one. The first ones I remember where, cosmos cosmic adventure, captain comic, commander keen 1-7, doom, doom2, dukenukem 1/2/3d, wacky wheels, wolfenstein 3d, supaplex, the first grand theft auto, warcraft 1/2, dune 2, redalert, prince of persia.

Quite a few others as well I remember playing all these games at a friends house, his dad fixed computers and he had a 4 computer lan back in the early-mid ninties which was pretty sick back then. Remember had some awesome times slaughtering each other over lan on those first fps games.

However; cant say Ive heard of anything like that, n ive played a fair share of old dos games!

Will ponder over it tonight though, while I play Battle Out Run on my Sega Master System II

I'm waiting for the Apogee company to be abandoned aye, so you get get all the sequals to Cosmo, Duke Nukem II, Hocus Pocus etc. of the net for free. And relive the magic plus more.

Well its before cosmos cosmic adventure etc. probably early 80's. Very old game. A lot of the old platform games are still a lot of fun, dont think i will ever find this particular game but might get an emulator and play some of the older stuff.

Just Google it aint that hard. Most of them are Shareware and a lot are Freeware now so they are legal and thus easy to find. If your 'puter doesn't run them just do what keats mentioned and download a DOS emulator.
