offset shoulder help

i dunno if offset is the right word for it but my left shoulder seems to b slightly lower and forward compared to my right if u really pay attention. i do a lot of free weights to keep symmetry as balanced as can be and u cant really notice the difference if u dont really pay attention. but i do get soreness and sometimes even pain in my left shoulder particularly when doing flat bench dumbell press. and it is very noticeable whilst doing cable crossovers. are there any excercises or stretches i could do to help this??? i already do tht side pectoral stretch where u stand leaning one arm against a side of a door etc. not keen on splashing out on a physio etcetc but looks lyk i have to if need be :(

true, it doesnt really bother me either it just wudnt b dandy if it turned into a injury in the future or got a lot worse thats all. met the father of a childhood mate i had n just found out he was a young champion bodybuilder in the states back in the 70's. was mates with dave draper n had training by vince gironda. no shit aye. he told me to set the cable pulley low and do one arm long rows whilst sitting on a bench with quite a big stretch as a finishing move for my lats he thought tht might help my left shoulder. any thoughts??

you may have a slight case of Scoliosis, which is a slight twist in the spine, which causes one shoulder to sit higher than the other and sit more forward, it can also cause one pec to appear larger than the other and also cause one hip to sit higher than the other.

is scoliosis serious?

it will get worse as u get older if u leave it and dont do anything, yr spine cannot be straightened from wat i understand but i can strengthen the muscles around it, go c a physio/chiro, they will know more about it and can offer u exercies adive to target the areas which need strengthening.

my friend has it, she doesnt do the exerices very often and her one aint bad at all but its still go to prevent the worsening
