Anyone ever tried one of these? It gives your forearm one hell of a workout!

I played with one at the Big Boy Toys expo last year. Quite cool, but then I have a soft spot for anything with gyroscopes - powerballs, Segways, anything.

The salesman tried to convince me it could also work other muscles, depending on the position you held it in, but I couldn't feel it doing anything. Definitely felt it in the forearms though!

I have one - they definitely work grip and forearm a lot - amazing the resistance once you get it spinning at over 13000 rpm.

Held in different positions it will work bi's and tri's somewhat.

If you look at getting one don't buy one of the look-a-likes off of trademe

as they are rubbish and do not work (I got one and couldn't get it started)

I got a proper "PowerBall" from local sports shop and it worked first time and is great.
