Legs then chest??????

Is this a good Idea?

As most of you already know I've started a new W/O programme.

this programme has legs then upper body in the same session.

This is great for me cos Ive started doing my legs again finally after so long.

But I have always been lead to believe that its not good to do lower and upper in the same day.

I feel if I do my legs and have a long enough rest break afterwards before hitting my upper body maybe this is OK.

What are your guys opinion.

yeah that’s a tough one. It would depend on how hard you work your legs. Personally I would never put a upper body straight after a leg work out, even with a small rest it still wouldn't be significant enough for the amount off watts and energy you used during your leg work out. It would be like doing a cardio circuit and then hitting the weights straight after. You have also got to remember the pooling of the blood in your legs after your leg work out then hitting upper body with not alot of blood curculation eqquals very few reps.

How ever in saying all that, I read up that you are training for power lifting which I know very little about, this advice would be more for bodybuilding.
