I definitly think it helps to balance out your physique, especially if you have bigger thighs. But some ladies get their boobs done and they don't have the shoulders to carry it off and they just look too top heavy instead of balanced. Getting mine done was the best thing I ever did, although it wasn't totally because of bb that I got them done, it has definitly has helped my physique look more balanced.

fuk yeah. i don't care how flash some guys think they are, you get any guy , give him a few bourbons and chuck him in a titty bar and he's thinking just like a caveman.

I would hope the judges are a bit more evolved...otherwise its just a breast show. I agree with Truds with it can help you look more balanced. I didnt get them to help with competing. After having a child and being left with the down side of breastfeeding, I basically got them 'refillled'.

Very good points, Sheta (pardon the pun! :wink: ). Apart from enduring 9 months of pregnancy and giving birth, I think a lot of us guys don't consider or appreciate the extra challenges that having children provides a woman who wants to also compete in bodybuilding.

Prices vary around the country. In Hamilton you can spend approx 12K, in Auckland I have been told about 15 is the starting price. I went to Tauranga a few years ago and spent just under 10K.

Where you get them placed may also effect price. Some surgeons place them under the pecs; espesh if there is not enough 'skin' to fill. If youve got the skin available (they call it an envelope) then the implant goes in there.

Easy op. In at 10, out at 4....no complications whatsoever!

Best to look around, and get some testimonials if you can. Some surgeries even offer payment plan!

Thanks for that Sheta!! Some ladies are pretty reserved about talking about this stuff, so it's nice to be able to get the advice of someone who has been there. I'll do some more investigating......my hubby is saying, buggar building the house, go get some new boobies lol. :D

I had mine done over here. In the UK they cost anywhere from about £4,000 to £8,000+ depending on the reputation of the company, type of implant, size of implant, where they put it etc. Loads of places offer payment plans and some even have specials where you can get a summer body package and get all your fat sucked out etc. at the same time?! I went to quite a few places to meet different surgeons etc. and in the end settled with a surgeon that undertakes the surgery over in Europe. Ended up costing me about £2,250. Mine are cohesive silicon gel (or 'gummy bears'). I had mine over the muscle as the thought of cutting through the pec muscle to put them under just didn't seem right. I went from about an A cup up to (off season) 32E/F.

Mine are silicone - or more precise, "co-adhesive gel". The inside is like that of a gummy bear, so if for some reason they burst, they wouldnt leak.

No pics - my partner is the only one who gets the close ups.

I am really excited about getting mine done in 11 days... everyone is sick of me talking about it at home so I thought I would share on here.

Since I started training my boobies have shrunk from a large c down to a small a/b (I am not really sure I stopped wearing a bra months ago, lol) along with my shoulders back and chest increasing in size I feel very unbalanced.

I am booked in with Jesse-Kenton Smith after I saw numerous surgeons he seemed the best for me. I am getting 420cc silicone implants sub-pectoral.

The only downer is that I wont be able to train for 4-6 weeks after my operation. At the moment I am ahead of schedule for my competition in September, so all going well I will be able to get back into it without a problem. I will let you know how I get on.

Yep I want to get some boobies, hopefully next year proabably under the pec, more painful yet think I will like that better. Not getting huge jugs, may be 350's. I got directed to the teenage bra section the other day for a AA training bra :shock: :( Getting some mean pecs though \:D/
