YES it is true, Jo Stewart is our 1st IFBB world champion. i just recived a text from her. in a class of 22 including last years champion jo has taken it out. Well don to her and mark.

I saw her training a couple of times in the week before she left, and she looked amazing - like she could step on stage (and probably to win!) right then. Congrats Jo, you done good. :grin:

That's fantastic news!! I've been anxiously waiting to hear her result, so thanks for letting us know, Mike.

That's a huge result for Jo, and for Mark (her hubby and trainer) and for NZ bodybuilding. It's very well deserved, and a perfect result after Jo finished 3rd last year. It's especially commendable when you consider that Jo is competing in an Open Masters category at 47 years of age against competitors up to 12 years younger than her.
