was in the exact same situation as you a month or 2 ago..... just toning up and no mass gained

so i did what everyone suggested changed my diet ate more - at first i did find it very difficult to eat as much as i needed and often felt lethargic and pretty much just run down for the first 2 weeks but now my bodys used to and i can eat a shitload more - eating when im not hungry seems to work very well - just do a bit of research of the type of foods you should be eating and go shopping for a heap of them

mass gainers also work well except i find they can give you some chronic gas :flames:

put on 7kg's so far

:D

umm whey isnt a mass gainer whey is just protein.

something that has a good carb-protein ratio....... check out all the stats on the label. should read something like

serving size 2 scoops (60grams)

20grams protein

30grams carbs

10grams other stuff

just an EXAMPLE!!!!

but you get the idea, dont get one that has 97% protein or whatever they claim as thatll probably just tone you up more.

^ What IronGame says.

Mass gainers may look like you're getting heaps for very little, but they're not so economical on a closer inspection. Half of what you're buying in a mass gainer isn't actually protein - it's carbs, so not only are there cheaper ways of getting this, you end up with fewer serves in the container.

Go for a basic protein concentrate, and add the rest of the food yourself.
