EATING TREATS VERSUS CARDIO

Idiots!!

Well, you did post 'teats'. It was a nice way to start my sunday. made me think of these lines from Meet the Parents:

I milked a cat once. You wanna hear a story? Sure.

My sister had a cat, and the cat birthed a litter of kittens.

Must've been of them, and there was this one little runt...

this little sweet little... little-engine-that-could runt...

who wanted to get up there and couldn't really get access to the-- to the--

to the-- to the-- to the teat.

Teat?

Dad. What have you.

I went in and just simply, you know, just--

into a little saucer,

then took the saucer and fed it to Geppetto-- that's what I named him.

I had-- I had no idea you could milk a cat.

Oh, yeah, you can milk anything with nipples.

I have nipples, Greg. Could you milk me?

I liked this thread better when we were talking about teats.

But in answer. I would rather do more cardio and eat something nice. Within three weeks of a show however, I would show some discipline and just not eat it. If I opened the flood gates, so to speak, it would be all on.

Yeah, I totally agree with Waldo on this. It all depends on how strict you need to be and why. If you are preparing for a comp, it can be a good idea to keep a few treats in your diet and reduce them gradually week by week until perhaps 4-5 weeks out. It also depends on what treats you are having and what effect they have on your body.

For my first comp I was totally strict for the final 12 weeks as I decided the idea of battling with myself mentally over how many treats I could have, what type of treat, and how often, would do my head in. It was much easier to just say "No treats at all" to remove the guess work - mind you I lost 22kg in those 12 weeks, so there was no room for anything other that strict dieting for that first show!! :D

If you had read any of my previous threads you would know I would much rather go for the treats and do extra cardio to make up for it.

I have had some rather extreme treat days lately but I will be on stage next Saturday at North Harbours none the less...
