I've been a frequent reader to this great site and thought that it was about time I signed up.

I've been training for just over a year now and competed in my first show last month. Enjoying the post-comp food a little too much at the moment :pfft: All good though!

Wow, didn't expect so many replies! I feel loved lol :wink:

As far as my show went, I did very well and the judges said that I should be competing in the Nationals. But due to having young kids (three of them in fact), a gym to run and hubby has just started a new job, it just wasn't the time. I hear that the Nationals (nzfbb), are hoping to be held in Welly next year, if they are, then I'll be keen to put the bikini back on again. So I guess you could say that I've been bitten by the 'bug'.

As for results from the show, I won Novice Figure Short, Mixed Pairs, Overall Figure and came third in the teams (with some of the great members from this site ) Not bad for a beginner.

Hey, our paths have already crossed. I was a tanner at the Wellington Champs this year. My hubby competed there too.
