yes! you said this"Even the slightest suggestion of HGH or steriods would f*ck up his career"

you can take hgh legally.

now what?

You can twist most sentences if you take them out of context. By reading the two sentences above it's pretty clear what I mean.

Who cares what he takes. He can take what he likes! He is the man, bodybuilding wouldn't be where it is without Arnold. Even in his 60's he wouldn't look out of place in a comp up against a few pro's!

lol yeah right! he could take mike katz and franco though.

I am certain he is on HGH and testosterone replacement theropy at least. I would be willing to bet on it if there was any way to prove it lol

lol, me too. but that would be a carefully gaurded national secret!

i bet his natural levels would be next to nothing given his age and his obvious long use of steriods over his body building career if not some of his movie career also.

i saw those pic's of him too,he looked like crap!not to much muscle fullness and tone and a fair bit of gut fat.

Yeah because a 60 year old who just had heart surgery should still maintain a lean physique

funny how he got back into such great shape after though aye?

some good muscle memory for a 60 year old don't ya think!

My old man had 3 heart attacks between 40 and 50 years and had a similar surgery. Knocked the guts out of him and I rememeber how shit he looked just after. He lost about 35kg but recovered a good portion of the weight within a year after the treatment. When you train with resistance all your life it's probably pretty safe to say you will keep most of what you build, regardless of whether you were juiced or not along the way.

I have met many older guys who are still massive that haven't been on the gear for 10+ years. Holding on to muscle is a lot different than gaining it seems. Steroid use or not he had amazing genetics - a -34inch waist and 22inch arms arn't obtainable without a good base to start from.

Absolutely, just because an athlete uses gear - doesn't automatically mean they qualify you to grow beyond your genetic make up. IMO Arnolds physique was exceptional in its day - greatest of all time? .... possibly, but definately the most charismatic and recognisable. Another good age comparison would be gymnasts in their senior years - There is a guy in his seventies training out west that has a physique most BB would pay big $$$ to look like and he's natural as.
