Hey there, Im new to this bodybuilding thing, have been mucking around with weights, cardio and work stuff for a few years and had mixed results-now Im getting older the results take more time to appear and less time to disappear. Looks like an awesome site-any help in getting a training split would be fantastic. I work for the fire service on a shift system which gives me access to a gym everyday, can have interruptions to workouts when at work due to the job but looking to get an eight day split if anyone has any ideas. I am 84Kgs, 5' 10 and would like to get down to mid 70s but need to get stronger rather than just leaner-sounds like a challenge for someone-any takers?

Yes thats right-we do 2 days, 2 nights and then 4 days off-the only downfall to working out through the shifts is that calls can interrupt the workout and if you wait until after a days shift you can be pretty tired, likewise the nights can be a bit rough if you are out after midnight and working. The lifestyle is fantastic but its not that easy to fit in workouts-having said that there are pleanty of guys and girls out there working a shitload more hours and still training hard too-if I had a split to work around at least I would have a pattern to get stuck into....hope you can help or at least give me some guidance, thanks 8)
