egg whites in buckets?

Anyone still buy these egg whites?

If so, where from?

bodyscuplt.co.nz info is a bit misleading:

says 1kg = 40 servings (find that hard to believe) and costs $55

but if you buy 12 it costs $125 (which works out to be about $10.45 per kg). One hell of a bulk buy.

if 1kg = 40 servings and if 1 serving yeilds more than 25gms of protein then hell I am in!

from memory 100ml = 10g protein. their powder works out cheaper

no fee for my service.

Thus proving why there is little to no money to be made in health and sports in NZ.

Are you mad? Are you paying up front with your cash and waiting to be re-embursed? Are you paying for the courier and putting your name as the guy responsible?

I just don't get it...maybe your brain works differently to that of a capitalists.

waldo , you ever thought it might be nice to help people out once in a while , plus the more i order the better the deal for everyone , aint got room for 10 in my freezer mate . not lookin to make a buck i just want quality products for the best price i can find , seriously do you have a financial intrest in the supps industry or something? why rattle on about how theres no money in health and supps in nz , when most of us have" made in china" printed on virtually everything . i couldnt give two shits if the guy in the usa gets my money or the poultry farm down the road does , as long as i get the best deal.

end of story!!

wasnt reffering to supps made in china, you only have to look at the boatloads of crap that come from china to realise that us kiwis have long given up being loyal to nz made , what makes health and supps any diffeerent ?nothing ! generally people will always want the best deal , bodybuildings not the cheapest sport to excell in, you gotta make your money go further , cant say many people i know at the ground level are filthy rich , so ya cant bag people for wanting a bargain.

I guess it shits me when people don't support NZ based business, or go at length to try and cut out the middle man. In doing so money that would normally make it thru to Nabba or NZFBB in terms of sponsorship is jeopardised. People sometimes wonder why events aren't better supported....

would it though?

also u u say waldo that when the xtreme nutrition stores started popping up, this made it hard for all (well the majority) or supplement stores

While Moe and Xtreme Nutrition certainly got everyone's back up, at least he puts money back into the sport. I can't fault them there. Moe simply exploited a business relationship he has direct with United States based manufacturers, whcih enables him to sell products at lower prices.

Businesses have to change and adapt just like human beings do (business evolution is a lot quicker by a few million years than human evolution) otherwise they don't survive. Moe certainly forced a number of businesses to change and adapt.

  • 1 year later...

not sure as i wasn't there, my wife had a course so had to entertain the kids.

couple of mates went, one of them competed in 67kg class first comp he's 65kg. managed 75kg bench, 185kg dead and 130kg squat. he's fairly happy though he says he doesn't like benchin but intends to work on it, learnt alot.

with the egg whites you have to order them 24hrs in advance. my mate got mine sorted for me so i don't know if you have to pay up front or on pick-up, but thay are in the yellow pages and the lady i spoke to on the phone said she gets a lot of bodybuilder/athlete types buying.
