Where else can you get 6.8kg for less than $150?

Perhaps the question should be "where else can I get 4.4kg of carbs (including 754g of sugar), 468g of fat and 1.3kg of protein (or 1.3 Milllion mg of amino acids if we use the PVL writing technique) for $150?"

So Ive just had my first serving. Mixed it with about 300ml of milk (3 scoops). Wow. SamWelly mate, yes, uncooked cake mixture. It's very sweet, was just about sickly sweet really. Is it better just mixed with water? Maybe I need to add more liquid... Its says to mix with 450 - 900 odd ml of water which sounds like quite a lot.

Anyone got suggestions of how they make it taste better? Maybe add a banana or something...I dont think I will always use the full 3 scoops which may help.

How about the Vanilla flavour, is that less intense?

Yeah I should have just followed instuctions...! Tastes way better just in water. I used 400+ mls and its all good. (A lot of powders say milk OR water but are better in milk, however this is an exception) Its not as if you need any extra protein from milk with this stuff!

We are talking about a mass gainer here, not pure protein. It has all the ingredients you need to put on mass, good carbs, good fats etc...

Hey Budy, yep I'm still using Mutant Mass, the price has gone up though but it is still great value for money. Where else can you get 6.8kg for less than $150?

If you're in the Wellington area, come into Gymeez, new shop opened up on the corner of Willis and Manners mall (109 Willis street), 15lbs for $159.99. Which is pretty cheap compared to health 2000 selling it for $220

Elite Nutrition on the net - 15lb for $148.75...

A tiny bit cheaper, as far as I can see is the cheapest you can find... (Pretty sure it's free shipping also as I got mine from them)

Keen to hear from anyone also if they've tried the strawberry/banana.

Im wondering if a cheaper powder which gives the same protein and similar carbs per serve may work out better than this mutant mass though.(Of course youre not getting all the extra oils etc which MM has but it really is the protein and carbs which are the most important no?) Something like the 2.5kg Musashi or something.... I still need to look at these and do the calculations I spose.

Basically talking about getting more serves for your buck really...

How good is MUTANT MASS?In a real world test, 23 experienced weight trainers

used MUTANT MASS for 10 days and the results were:

• 96% liked the taste!

• Average weight gain in just 10 days was 3.7lbs!

• 92% reported increases in bicep AND chest

measurements!

• 87% reported reduced bodyfat.

• 92% reported increased energy.

• 87% reported they felt their muscles were

‘tighter’ and stronger!

• 100% would recommend it to others wanting to

add LEAN mass!

Speaking of research .... WOW Looks like PVL put a lot of time into getting a huge catchment of 23 bodybuilders to test the product ... I wonder if they were scientists???

If you use the same size serve of Horleys MASS you get more calories and a maintinance serve of creatine in each shake. May be more cost effective?? Either product will add weight based on calories in.

5kg in 2 months - They should have come up with this stuff 10 years ago ... i'd be well over 400kg by now!

Looking at Musashi Bulk Whey Protein Powder you're getting more protein than the Horleys one and a cheaper price, and one more serve than the Horleys Mass...!

http://www.punchsupplements.co.nz/suppl ... -25kg.html

It's not bad against the Mutant Mass, twice as many serves for half the price, does have less carbs per serve (MM has shitloads more) but 24g Carbs from the Mushashi isnt bad.

I guess you could use a smaller serve size of MM to make it last more serves... maybe Im trying to compare apples and oranges really...hmmm

If your a first time weight gain user youll have to adapt to bigger servings like 400ml-900ml and believe me it may sound easy but try drinking that first thing in the morning on a empty stomach.Overall pvl taste great but may take a while to get used to.I found the morning serving the worst and occasionally threw up but am used to it now.great product, relatively cheap and id recommend it to anyone.
