I've been using a sack of the PVL MM for the last week or so now, and i can say it's one of the easiest way's i've found to get quality calories in your diet without resorting to dry oat shakes!

3cup Oats

500ml WATER

1 Tblspn COCOA POWDER

1 Tblspn Sucralose

30g SKIM MILK

Which still doesnt get you nearly close to 1050 calories. Not that you should be having the entire 260g serving of MM in one go.. Spread it out through the day for maximum results!

why do you say this ? im havin muscle juice with is same thing 1050 cals then i add some other stuff in to take it up to 15-1600 calories and ill drink that in 10 mins, seems to be putting weight on nicely....

... not quite the same playing field mate .... you could put on weight from the smell of a cheese burger at the moment :)

1. 1050 Calories in one serve.

2. That's like eating a McDonalds meal! (Even if it is 'usable calories')

3. It's very hard on the body to process that much FOOD in TEN minutes, bro

Im hitting 88kg at the moment, still fairly lean too! :pfft: :pfft:

true, must be getting fairly big then ay, strength going up again ?

Sorry to re-hash an old topic but is it 4 scoops per day in total...ie 2 morning and 2 post workout OR 4 scoops 2x per day ie 4 morning and 4 post workout?

i do 2 at night and 2 after so it last longer and so i dnt get the sh#ts :lol:

it's 4 scoops (250g) per serve, 1050cals, 55g protein, 170g carbs and 18g fat, from memory.

bit excessive imo i just did like 1day and had 2 scoops 2x per day. musclejuice has similar stats and is a better price

this product is working well for me on my bulk, but must say i think the vanilla flavour is pretty average and im a person who usually likes vanilla, tryed some of the choc flavour the other day and was far better..

I am thinking of having a shake at night before bed as Im a PT and work late and then train after my clients. Was just wondering whether the 4 scoops at that time combined with a banana is likely to be upsetting on my guts with such high cals...ps Im used to going to bed on a shake, oats, yoghurt and fruit salad lol. Or whether I should have 2 scoops there and 2 somewhere else during the day....as it is I eat alot of food throughout the day and my thinking is to take in and absorb the high cals whilst my body is recovering ie 'fasting' for 8hours.

I think the best option would be to try 2 scoops twice, then work your way up to 4 scoops at night. but do you really need 1050 calories, mostly from carbs, straight before bed?

you seem to have a lot of advice, what are your stats ?

My stats are useless.

He was worried about it being too much, and I just suggested he tried starting mid range and working up. Why do I have to be able to lift a lot/ be skinny to offer advice? If it was radical advice, maybe, but I made it clear it was an opinion.

just try 2 scoops and increase it.. theres no way i could down 4scoops with a bannana rite now.. but going by the size of you and what you say you eat youl prob be fine.. i rekon eating carbs before bed is all good while your bulking as long as they are slow digesting..

i was reading an article by lane norton and he said drinking milk before bed was a good idea due to it mainly containg casein protein and the carbs (lactose) in it are slow digesting so good for overnight recovery/growth

so maybe use milk with the mutant mass for your night shake.. i do realise mutant mass has some casein in it but it wouldnt be much.. you could prob use 3 scoops if you were using 400ml of milk.. get anchor xtra 5g protein,5g carbs per 100ml

Do you disagree with Lambo's comments, Luigi? If so, tell us why. It seemed like pretty reasonable advice to me. :-s
