What about Les Mills Victoria Park? That's traditionally been regarded as Auckland's bodybuilding mecca.

 

Or, for a slightly more down-to-earth vibe, try City Fitness Newmarket - plenty of big guys there too.

Could try NZ muscle gym in Takapuna. I train at les Mills britomart. Bit more relaxed there than vic with good equipment
