Random blood presure spikes after pining

Recommended Posts

Hi All

Just a random question coming up here.  Im close to finishing my second ever cycle, 7 weeks into a 10 week deal. Iv been monitoring my blood pressure and recording it for a year now and it does not move around much,  it sits just on the upper lever of normal or on the edge of stage one.  Iv had pre bloods done prior to the start of this cycle and just had mid cycle bloods done and all looks good and on track.  Iv just been doing a basic cycle of Test E @250 twice a week with some Adex every 3rd day,  same gear as I used in my first cycle.  Iv experienced no other side affect at all except the last three pins Iv done, any where from 6 to 8 hours after pining my blood pressure and heart rate goes through the roof, hot flushes , short of breath and feeling faint,  it lasts for about 4 hours then slowly subsides and all returns to normal.

Yesterday I pined at 8.30am  ,  full day at wk, 1.5 hrs at the gym, home, dinner, bed then wake up 2 hrs later soaked in sweat heart rate at 115 BPM  and BP190/104  this lasted for about 4 hours then subsided back to normal and i slept the rest of the night.

Anyone else ever had this or know what might be causing it to happen?

Could it be anxiety?

I know when I use to measure my blood pressure regularly I would become anxious to do it. A racing heart is text book for anxiety.

I'v done that to myself as well....  But in this case I was asleep and woke up in a mess.  The other times its happened Iv been completely at rest when it hits me as well.  I know what you mean about the anxiety,  as soon as you get a high BP reading the heart instantly starts pumping faster,  wait 10 mins take another reading and you get an even higher reading!!

Maybe try not to monitor for a 10 or so days then see if the symptoms subside.

Measuring daily isn't going to help anything even if it is an issue or not.

If still concerned get an 24 hour ECG to see if the heart beat is irregular and/or a 24 hour blood pressure monitoring. I got both done and results came back normal. Had the same symptoms as yourself. Except would happen at what I thought was random times. Also got an ECO done to top it all off. No issues at all and puts mind to rest if you have medical insurance.

I'm guessing mine was stress related, maybe some form of mild anxiety all work induced.
