Finasteride/Propecia

Hey all,

 

Anyone here using/used finasteride/propecia?

 

I'm currently experiencing hairloss (do not use AAS), and am considering hopping on to save that hair.

 

Its a prescription only medicine, so i'd need to go the GP and hopefully get it prescribed and then can order from an NZ online pharmacy etc such as pharmacydirect.

 

I'd like to hear your thoughts :)

I did try finasteride, but I've stopped now. I just didn't like mucking with my hormones systemically to fix a problem that could be addressed topically. It may be placebo, but I felt like I had brain fog and no energy while on it. Daz and others will no doubt be reading this and saying, "Told you so!"  

 

The other factor was that I bought it online through a dodgy "research chemical" company, so I couldn't be 100% sure of what I was taking anyway.

 

It seemed more sensible (and cost effective) to try the topical route first, so I've started using Regro spray (a cheaper, generic version of Regaine) from Pharmacy Direct. It seemed to help.
