If you try ordering certain chemicals that are made to manufacture drugs from an industrial chemicals supplier without having proper licensing then be prepared to be reported and/or put on some type of watch list.

If petrol stations do it you can be damn sure chemical suppliers do it.

I've bought some off eBay before, and from a different website. It's not illegal and it's not hard to find a supplier.

 

If you get it from overseas then yes it's pretty standard for the shipping price to be relatively high. Most people wouldn't worry about paying $45 as they'd buy enough to last a few years in an order. The chemicals themselves aren't particularly expensive
