NZFBB North Island Champs - Sept 15

Recommended Posts

Apparetly I can drink beer for the first time in 16 weeks after this show. You should sell tickets for that MT!

Excellent, Waldo! I'll be happy to buy the beers - it'll be well worth it to watch the floor show that follows!

I'll also bring a bucket and mop to clean up, plus a blanket so you don't catch a cold when you spend the night at the Masterton Police station!! :pfft:

You mean spend a night under a tree outside the pub...it's been done before. I still maintain a completely clean police record.

On the subject of beer, apparently if I head onto the nationals a masive night is out of the question....this bodybuilding had better pay off at some point.

yeah great show big t. awesome venue. wish everyone involved with the nzfbb was as enthusiastic and hard working as you. And then you win your class ( the biggest in the show ) and take out 4 guys all at least 10 years younger than you, and then take out the best posing award .

Good on you terry, you are a great ambassador and one of the good guys in the sport.

P.S. congrats to all the other guys in my class , and good to put a face to the name waldo, ( must have been a close call between you and terry )

Congrats also to rachel mackenzie who in her very first show won her class and then went on to win the overall figure as well as the couples with her husband bevan mackenzie who turned up in awesome condition and won the open men over 90kg class.

Thanks very much for those comments, diamond - and thank you for making the effort to compete at this show and be as enthusiastic and positive as you always are!

Yeah, I was lucky to pip Waldo on the night - apparently there wasn't much at all between us. Great to see a good Classic line-up ... hopefully more guys will step up and try this new class.

Definitely a fun and successful show, and one that I am all set to organise again next year! Yes, Rachel and Bevan did a brilliant job - on and off stage.

I didn't realise you were competing in the show as well as organising it, MasterTel! You're obviously a glutton for punishment!

I notice everyone in the Classic Men's class is a member of this website. Perhaps we should start calling it the NZ Bodybuilding Forum's Men's Class?

Now, I expect to see photos of all of you in due course...

According to Joe Daniel there was one point difference! It came down to presentation. I have to learn to look at the audience....but I'm stoked with the way my first comp went. Also stoked with the fact we had good numbers in the classic class.

Roll on the nationals....if the better half lets me. It's touch and go right now!
