An adult male moving up 3 shoe sizes in his 30's or early 40's wow!  This goes back to what Kevin was saying about todays guys having bigger heads, feet and looking more like Football players than small jointed Bodybuilders with large muscle bellys etc

Good honest post though from Rich, acknowledging the stomach growth etc

What happens when you straighten out curved things? They get longer buddy.

Yes obviously. Just because that is true does not mean that being a bit heavier has any significant effect on straightening your foot structure and the associated lengthening which you claim.

Do you have any studies which support this claim and attribute foot size increase with weight gain to it rather than to swelling of the feet. Couldnt argue with actual evidence, rather than unsubstantiated online claims. My foot size was no different at 85kg than it was at 118kg.

You can try do that if you want and buy a vernier caliper and keep a log of your foot measurements lol. Instead of that though maybe you could post some credible information supporting your claim or at least say where you got this information from? Genuinely curious if there's some truth to it or not.

Someone asked Dave Palumbo the question in one of his youtube videos. If I come across it again I'll post the link. His response was that his feet flattened out when he reached 300lbs, and that he thought that it was likely the same thing for Rich.

Quite a lot of web hits on obesity being a cause of the collapse of foot arch. If I find anything credible I'll post. It might be more of an all or nothing kind if thing if it collapses... So you might not be able to measure with your calipers.

Acromegaly: This is a condition characterized by excessive bone growth in the body, most notable in the hands, feet, jaw (mandible), and forehead. Acromegaly is usually the result of excessive Human Growth Hormone levels in a human being (either from natural endogenous production or from use of exogenous sources). Gigantism is one such condition of acromegaly that is caused by excessive endogenous Human Growth Hormone production in the pituitary. What must be clarified concerning this side effect is the fact that there are 2 requirements for this condition to manifest itself: 1. Long-term use of Growth Hormone (years upon years of consistent use), and, 2. Excessive and/or very high doses of Human Growth Hormone, especially in long-term use. Intermittent cycles of Human Growth Hormone at sensible and moderate doses should not generate this effect in people. Even so, the enlarging of the hands, feet, and jaw do not occur over night and takes place over the course of years (hence why long term excessive abuse is necessary for this effect). An effect that requires such a long time to slowly manifest itself is also usually never noticeable unless an individual compares a picture of themselves to a previous one 7 or more years old, for example (during which time Human Growth Hormone was constantly utilized).

Yes & yes. Let's hope it's like night and day once he's fully carbed up. Otherwise it's lights out and not in a good way.

Just watched it again... and I've had to change my mind a bit. Kevin was toe to toe on the most muscular against Cedric. A bit fuller and it would be his. I think he can fill that out, it's just the back... lower back is not there so much and missing a bit too much thickness. I don't think that can be changed with a bit of carbing up. Would be awesome if he does.

Silly bugger should have deadlifted hard. He said he doesn't because it keeps his waist small... would love to see a Levrone that had been deadlifting hard.

McMillan is huge and in good shape, fairly lean and pretty full looking. He certainly had Kevin from the back as he has a great back but Cedric IMO still always lacks the 2% condition to be a Mr O. A little bit harder and his is super dangerous, also as he is so tall his posture gets a bit stopped with a forward head posture which makes him look a but round shouldered sometimes.

To his credit Kevin looks very lean/dry and from the front his arms are better than Cedrics - better forearms and lower insertions and the Bi's and Tri's.

Kevin looked to be a similar size to Josh but way leaner and thats without a tan.

Still remains to see what carbs, colour and his lower body come up like tomorrow. I cant wait. If his dryness stays but he fills out it will still be a great look.

Still great arms:

He's hard as hell and once it all comes out he's gonna look good. People talk like the shows over on pre comp pics or this press conference. Nothing counts til it's on stage. What's more telling is he's so confident in his conditioning that he took his shirt off and yeah the other guys would say they couldn't be bothered blah blah blah but truth is they're not that confident in exactly how they look at that moment. It's going to be interesting and good on Kevin Josh and Cedric for making it fun to watch.

Fucking deadlifts. What a waste of energy. Especially for bodybuilding.

 A bodybuilder who doesn't deadlift is a pussy!!!!!!! :P

Can't hurt deadlifting every 2-3 weeks IMO. Can maintain some great strength doing that. Doesn't even need to be regular. Stiff legged is great.
