Quick run down. I had a rubbish comp as I said in my journal but I'm  just one person. Everyone really enjoyed the comp from what I saw. Had a small team come over from Aussie. One chick broke a WR equipped squat. Dale lifted and broke World records too. Not to mention some other really good lifters that I havnt seen before and the usual good people that I have come to know. The venue was great, platform and seating for audience in one hotel conference room and the warm up and lifters area in another conference room next door. This kept the spectators out the way of the lifters. This is really annoying at other comp when you have the spectators mingling with the lifters and they just get in the way and their kids run round etc well it pisses me off anyway. this kept people out and was great. The comp ran really well. Alan kissick and the team ran it like clock work. There are lots of people involved with a lot of experience running powerlifting comps so it was good instead of one person trying to do it all by themselves and biting people's heads off along the way. The judging was good from what I saw believe it or not, so we can put that one to bed I think. I'll definitely lift at nats again next year. Big ups from me.

I enjoyed watching the comp as a spectator. Also had a fun time motivating a buddy who participated. It's quite fun encouraging someone to lift hard! You feel all the muscles firing as if you're doing the lift yourself.

I'm looking forward to the upcoming deadlift comp in December. Hope to compete but am unsure how I will do as I will be travelling through October and November - maybe I can sneak a few deadlift sessions in during my travels!
