2016 GPC Nationals

They've changed it to line up with GPC Australia's rulings this year so only the first place of each class is viable for overall.

The only reason it was different last year was because it wasn't as competitive, whereas now there are more good lifters so it makes sense.

Looking forward to watching the livestream and some.big weights getting shifted. I think JT and Hamish will have a good battle going for 1st, and it'll be silly for them to be in different flights, they'll probably shift it on the day like with Tom Lee last year getting put in our flight since he was competitive overall. Dale is a dark horse, if his injuries don't hold him back he'll go well, big total there waiting but seems like he's just making up lost ground at this point.

Jarrod will go hard, looking forward to seeing a top 5 placing overall in only his second comp.

Elldawg and Bryn will have their Snap Battle going on, I think Elliot will take it, Squat and Bench more, too much ground for Bryn to make up on the Deadlift.

And Maccaz... You'll always have a place in our hearts, please don't go 697.5kg lol

Not long now team . There is going to be a live feed on the day so will post link up when I get it . Also Raiselower and Strong fit will have stands so you can try the new SBD gears and other things to. Going to be huge.

Do you know if the SBD belt will be available for purchase? What did you pay for yours?

I'm not sure . I know it will be there to try on etc . I paid $310 including delivery. I think it was $290. Really nice belt .

Was an awesome weekend catching up with everyone.  That guy Eru is a monster. Hamish with a massive 3rd squat and now he's good at deads to so even bigger total coming . Dale's records, Kate Mitchell just hands down in a league of her own she's unreal . Some of the light females today shocked the shit out of me with weights they were lifting to. Pretty awesomely set up comp , well run, international refs, fantastic trophies and awards but bad call having Raiselower there I just kept on buying lol. And of course good to catch up with other forum members.
