Accommodation advice

In 19 days I'll be flying in to New Zealand. Aside from the hostels can anyone recommend me a good way to find a place to live or know of anywhere?

If you're meaning long term then you'll want a flat situation like above.

Otherwise good sites to look into are Homestay.com and AirBnB.com, these are rooms at people's houses or flats that you can easily get into short notice and book them like a hotel.

This coming from a lad who just did the opposite of what you're doing and shifted to the UK, we booked a place off Homestay.com for our first couple weeks to take the pressure off so we could find a more long term place.
