If you compete in the IPF, it's illegal to use any aid to get sleeves on, powder, bags, your mates, prob not so much in the local comps but at internatty Lv you'll get told off.

your also not allowed to sniff nose tork in front of the crowd apparently, got told off at nationals last year lol

Fair enough. Also if people don't know what it actually is so it could give off a bad image.

Surely you would know what it is if you're at a powerlifting meet?

I meant if a picture was in the local paper etc. We new Zealanders are great at escalating news like that. It would cause a shit storm of misunderstanding.  :)

Old mate thought it would be a good idea to buy a smaller size...nek min and $120 later can't get them over his calves...

yeh if u got massive calves, gonna have some issues.. still, where there is a will there is a way lol. wear long socks ( i wear knee high compress soccer socks), fold the sleeves in half, roll on. its way easier that way. there was a vid of it somewhere on this site , will post up if i find it.

edit, heres a vid that shows the general idea anyway.. that dude uses a plastic bag, i use that technique but with high socks. not saying you should go way too small nor that this will guarantee to help you, but its what some ppl do to get the smaller sizes on.

went through two pairs of get strength sleeves in 3 months. Got a pair of titan yellow jackets and they came apart at the seems and separated after six months. I sent them back and got them replaced no problem. The feel and fit is great and preferred over SBD. I have a pair of SBDs and went by the sizing chart but they are really too big for competition. They are durable for sure but go at least one size smaller.

The Titan yellow jackets are the same thickness and length as the sbd? Just different stitching?
