No. They get them for like 250usd over there lol

Yep complete BS, wish someone like GetStrength would import PL bars regularly. I'm leaning toward TPB because its about the only thing I have a hope at getting. Hopefully IA get some more emails of interest, 725-750 isn't the shittest price ever.

Side note after re-reading - Tom mentioned the Okie powerbar, I got to use this for bench press in December at GPC meet.. probably the nicest feeling bar in my hands, ever. No idea how it would feel to squat/dead with but for benching it was next level comfort

So let's say price aside. What's the ultimate of powerlifting bars you would get if you had the choice?  What's the absolute hands down best bar available to cover all 3 lifts?  Eleiko?

From my very limited powerlifting experience, it seems most people like the Eleiko. That could be because it is the most common comp bar, which are always better than gym bars. Could just be the most common comp bar because its the best. I've done one comp with an Ivanko and one with an Eleiko and I preferred the Eleiko. Something about it went I deadlifted just felt a lil better. Haven't used any lift specific bars or titex etc. If I had unlimited funds I would be buying either and not thinking twice. Eleiko design looks cool though in their pictures with the red.

for an all rounder bar i reckon eleiko is awesome.

i've deadlifted benched and squatted with it and its always very good. i would say especially bench which is odd as its not a lot of weight to justify having a nice bar but it feels noticeably better, dunno how.

other thing to consider is the comp style plates are much nicer to lift with than bumper plates. bumper plates bring the weight far out on the bar and cause more bend/whip. i squatted 195x5 with bumpers and eleiko bar and it was bouncing all over the place, unpleasant af.

perfect world

squat:

sportskraft thick squat bar + comp plates

bench
eleiko bar + comp plates

deadlift

texas deadlift + comp plates
